Ingredients

  • 2 x 250g SunRice Brown Rice in 90 Seconds
  • 500g minced pork
  • 2 tblspn vegetable oil
  • 1 tblspn sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
  • 2 tblspn ginger, grated or cut into fine strips
  • 1/2 red chilli, deseeded and sliced
  • 1 cup spring onions, sliced
  • 4 tblspn soy sauce
  • 8 washed iceberg lettuce leaves (cup shaped)

Instructions

Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add ginger, garlic and chilli, fry gently for a minute. Add pork mince and stir fry until cooked. Microwave rice, add and stir fry until rice is hot. Add soy sauce and spring onions and heat for a further 2 minutes. Fill mixture in to lettuce cups and serve.

Tips

To eat, just roll up the filled lettuce cups.

Variations

Add chopped water chestnuts or bamboo shoots for an authentic Asian taste and sprinkle with roasted peanuts

Has anyone got a good chinese fried rice receipt. You can never get it to taste as good as they make it. Any suggestions Elizabeth
