Ingredients
- 2 x 250g SunRice Cheese and Mushroom Rice in 90 seconds
- 600g chicken strip (thigh fillet or breast fillet)
- 4 tblspn vegetable oil
- 1 tblspn butter
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- 1/2 cup of dry white wine
- 1 cup of fresh cream
- 1 bunch of chives, finely sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat oil in a frying pan. Season chicken and add to hot oil, sautee until just cooked, remove from pan and set aside. Add butter and garlic to pan and cook gently for one minute without browning garlic. Add wine and reduce by 1/3, then add cream and reduce by 1/2 or until cream has a nice sauce consistency. Add chicken, bring to the boil and add chives. Heat SunRice Cheese and Mushroom Rice in 90 seconds as per pack instructions. Place chicken and sauce on a bed of rice.
Tips
Heat rice when chicken and sauce is ready to serve.
