Ingredients

2/3 cup SunRice Arborio Rice
1 can condensed milk
1 tspn vanilla essence
3 1/2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup sultanas
2 tspn butter

Instructions

  • Place uncooked rice, condensed milk and vanilla in a greased 6 cup casserole dish. Mix well.
  • Gradually add boiling water, stirring until well combined. Add sultanas and butter and mix well.
  • Bake in a moderate oven (190-200 degrees celcius) for 25 minutes or until mixture begins to simmer.
  • Stir with fork to break up rice.
  • Lower temperature to moderately slow (160-180 degrees celcius) and cook for a further 40 minutes or until rice is tender and pudding is golden brown.
