Ingredients
2 cups SunRice Basmati Rice
25g butter
500g beef, cubed
25g flour
1 onion, diced finely
1 apple, diced
1 dessertspoon curry powder
1 dessertspoon chutney
1 tspn salt
450ml boiling water
2 beef stock cubes
Instructions
- Toss the cubes of beef in the flour.
- Melt butter in a large pot and fry onion, apple and floured meat.
- Add curry powder, chutney and salt. Dissolve stock cubes in boiling water and add to the pot.
- Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 hours.
- Cook rice as per directions on pack.
- Serve curry with rice.
Variations
- Coconut or raisins can be added.
