Ingredients

  • 1 tblspn of olive oil
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 brown onion.
  • 500g mince meat
  • 4 anchovies
  • 2 tblspn of capers
  • 1 tblspn of chicken stock powder.
  • 400g mushrooms
  • 10 black olives
  • 2 cans of diced tomatoes
  • 1 small jar leggos tomato paste/sauce,- (with chilli optional)
  • 1 pack of pasta of your choice, preferrably spagetti

Instructions

  • Heat onion and garlic and oil in the fry pan, add mince meat and wait till brown.
  • Add capers, mushrooms, anchovies finely chopped and chicken stock and mix through.
  • Finally add diced tomatoes, olives and tomato paste/sauce continue to mix through.
  • Simmer for 15-20 minutes, taste and add salt if needed.

At home we actually have rice with this sauce instead of spaghetti which is great when you have made heaps of sauce and want to finish off the next night. so spaghetti one night and rice the other night!
