Ingredients
- 1 leek, washed and sliced
- 1 cup of SunRice Basmati Indian Aromatic Rice
- 2 cups of chicken stock
- 1 tspn of butter
Instructions
- Slice the leek and saute in a little hot butter until limp. Add the rice, stir.
- Add 2 cups of hot chicken stock, stir. When boiling, put the lid on saucepan and cook on a very low, small gas flame for about 10 mins. Stir and taste, if still too moist, cook a little longer.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve.
Tips
- Good as a side dish with Asian-marinated pork chops.
- Good comfort food, to be eaten any time.
