Ingredients
1 large family size (microwave) rice
2 chicken oxo cubes
1 medium capsicum
1 medium onion
200g mushrooms
1 large tin tuna
1 small tin corn
1 small container long life cream
Instructions
- Cook onion, capsicum and mushrooms together in pan until brown. Sprinkle a little salt on the mushroom to stop it going soggy.
- Add the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- Serve and eat
Tips
- Sprinkle a little salt on the mushroom to stop it going soggy.
- The little ones cannot taste the capsicum or onion and love the taste.
Variations
- You may add other ingredients or remove corn or capsicum if not desired.

What is meant by 1 large family size (microwave) rice?
i will be certainly making this dish sounds lovely
To make it lower in fat replace cream with lite evaporated milk, gives the creamy taste without the fat content
This is an easy, tasty meal. I used fresh corn cut from the cob, and omitted the cream, as we are watching our weight. Thanks.
