Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Sunrice Medium Grain White Rice
  • 450 g lean minced beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tspn crushed garlic
  • 1 tspn seeded mustard
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius.
Lightly grease a small loaf pan.
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until cooked. Check with a skewer to make sure it is hot and cooked in the centre.
Once cooked, remove meatload from the oven adn let it rest fo 10 minutes before turning it out.
Slice and serve with a green salad or vegetables and gravy.

Tips

Cover the top of the meatload with aluminium foil after 10 minutes if it is browning too fast.

Variations

Any left-overs can be used in sandwiches and rolls with salad, mustard or chutney.
