Ingredients
- 2 cups wholemeal flour
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup cooked SunRice Long Grain Brown Rice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk
Instructions
- Cook rice as per pack instructions.
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 22x12cm loaf tin.
- Combine flours & rice. Stir in oil & sufficient milk to form dough. Knead lightly on a floured surface till smooth.
- Lift dough into prepared tin & make a few slits in the top of dough.
- Bake for 45 mins or till bread sounds hollow when tapped.
Tips
- Nice warm with cream cheese.
- Add olives & herbs or Banana for variety.
