Ingredients

  • 2 cups wholemeal flour
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup cooked SunRice Long Grain Brown Rice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup milk or buttermilk

Instructions

  • Cook rice as per pack instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 22x12cm loaf tin.
  • Combine flours & rice. Stir in oil & sufficient milk to form dough. Knead lightly on a floured surface till smooth.
  • Lift dough into prepared tin & make a few slits in the top of dough.
  • Bake for 45 mins or till bread sounds hollow when tapped.

Tips

  • Nice warm with cream cheese.
  • Add olives & herbs or Banana for variety.
