Ingredients

  • 115g (1 cup) vermicelli egg noodles, broken down
  • 2 cups, 400g SunRice Long Grain White Rice
  • 1L (4 cups) water
  • 50g salt reduced butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat butter on a frying pan on low heat.
  • Add vermicelli egg noodles, stir through until brown, add rice followed by water, bring to boil.
  • Simmer for approx 20 mins on very low heat. Once cooked let sit for another 5-10 minutes.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Tips

  • Cook slowly
