Ingredients
600g chicken mince
1/2 cup cooked SunRice Medium Grain Rice
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 cup dried breadcrumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 tblspn satay sauce (store-bought)
extra dried breadcrumbs for rolling
Instructions
- Place all ingredients together in a mixing bowl and mix together well.
- Form into balls with hands and flatten into patties.
- Roll the patties in extra breadcrumbs.
- Lightly fry in a non-stick frypan for 15 minutes. Makes about 14 patties.
Tips
- By putting the mixture in the fridge for an hour, it will make it easier to form into patties.
- Wet hands before forming the patties to make mixture easier to handle.
Variations
- Any sauce can be substituted for the satay sauce. Tomato paste/sauce also works well.

The wife and I had chicken paddies the last 2 nights very nice. Even our little Jack Russel enjoyed them.
